Diversity of Opinion™ is only ever championed when said opinion is dehumanizing to a group of people. Or, when breadcrumbs trailing that opinion lead back to white supremacy propaganda and someone rightfully points it out.
Why is that?
Opinions are never inherently neutral, or apolitical. Opinions hold weight. We have a responsibility to first inform ourselves beyond casual observation before we express our opinions. Just because you have an asshole doesn't mean you get to shit anywhere.
