Belatedly understanding the dynamic whereby a vile person in power manages to clear the field of competitors for that power except for the people who are equally vile. So even if the vile person gets ousted, the "selected" alternate will be from a field of the vile. Individuals are just carriers that vile uses to spread itself. It's a public health issue.
