In just three short years, OpenAI went from a non-profit organization with a promise to build non-military use AI out in the open, to a secretive for-profit corporation that definitely just signed a contract with the US government to help kill civilians.
And all this *before* he's been able to make AI indispensable to our lives. Can you imagine what he'll be like when he's collecting rents?
When it's all said and done, I think even the tech CEOs will regret giving Altman all that power.
