I tried out Spirit Hunter: Death Mark and it's ok so far. It's a low-animation, very text-focused adventure game, a bit like Uninvited but much more forgiving. There are some timed parts, but they're brief and limited to a few key moments.
There are some really nice illustrations, but the text hasn't given me enough context/detail to really create that much of a creepy atmosphere.
