Food stamps are one of the most cost effective programs ever devised. Not only do you feed people who need it, which is the most pro-life thing I can think of, but the money goes to stores, truck drivers and delivery personnel, and farmers.
For every dollar spent on food stamps, $1.50 to $1.79 in stimulus to the economy is generated.
This is both stupid and cruel.
