"At the same time, I have to note that, if we take that principled (or purist?) path, we end up missing valuable Substack commentary by people highly critical of fascism, ranging from Heather Cox Richardson, Ruth Ben-Ghiat (attacked yesterday by a commenter here for being on Substack), Thomas Zimmer, and many other voices who seem especially important to hear at this critical juncture in history.
I'm not sure what's to be gained by dividing ourselves ihnto purist camps.
