You don't have to give Apple the benefit of the doubt in 2023; they're rabidly anti-web and anti-browser-choice. Remember, Apple makes *billions* a year from the web, and re-invests the tiniest fraction of that back into Safari, all while holding back competitors that might deliver real competition with their native app platforms. It's all of a putrid piece:
