I honestly think that Zelenskyy's interests are best served by burning his bridges with the US as fast as possible.
He needs clarity on who is really in his corner and who is OK with trading his country away for (temporary) protection from Putin's imperial aspirations.
And he needs to do it now before T-Bone's assistants can cobble together an effective military force out of what's left after they purge the DOD.
