After Russia invaded Ukraine, I posted a similar message (lost due to post auto-deletion) about the sharp increase in anti-Russian sentiment that we were seeing on Mastodon. Nobody should be ostracized or harassed just because of where they live, *especially* if they’re living under a problematic regime.
