Being a parent and being a developer are a lot alike.
You spend all your time trying to find ways to teach this little brain how it's supposed to behave and respond and what to know and what to share or do in any given situation, hopefully in a way it'll understand, praying the whole time it actually sticks and the thing you're talking to doesn't just decide to do something that never even crossed your mind the minute you're not looking.
