The bird feeders have been empty for a while. I finally got around to getting them so washed, dried, and refilled. I was wondering how long it would take for the birds to realize - what if they didn't come back! Maybe the neighbors have better food!
Well, pfft, I wasn't even back in the house before the first sparrows showed up 😂
In no time, they were joined by three Blue Jays, half a dozen or so Mourning Doves, a Hairy Woodpecker, and - a first at my feeder! - a Red-bellied Woodpecker.
