At Oxide we use IPv6 quite heavily -- the management network, the layer where I work, doesn't even support IPv4. We also use IPv6 _strangely,_ and in particular, a lot of our tools wind up needing to be scope-ID aware. An awful lot of ipv6 code is _not_ scope-ID aware. (When you're attempting to use link-local addressing _and you're the switch_ it matters a lot which interface packets go out!)
But even we don't use the flow-label bits (so far). I think they're headed for the bin of misfeatures.
