JS is way better. CSS is almost unrecognizably great. Browsers are the best they've ever been. Build tools are a massive generational leap ahead.
But React, still the de facto industry standard, is just sitting there, mostly the same as it's been since the late 2010s; before ESM imports were standardized, before Grid was stable, before IE died off, before anyone ever heard of Vite.
