The more I learn about #BlueSky, the more I realize I was asking the wrong question. It's not "who owns BlueSky?"
BlueSky is just the app. BlueSky the company, or at least the specific legal entity owned by CEO Jay Graber, was commissioned to develop #ATProto and build a proof of concept platform on top of it.
So, the 13 million dollar question is— Who owns #ATProtocol? If that protocol is to run the #SocialWeb, this seems like a more relevant question.
Because it's not Bluesky PBLLC.
