what: @ROCDIGI group netwe have established a weekly net to explore the possibilities in JS8 with others, centered around but not limited to the Rochester NY area. feel free to join us no matter your location, it will be more fun with a good turnout to explore things like automated checkins and message relaying.
the idea is to establish a welcoming environment for people to get comfortable operating in this short-text-message mode, which works great with low power, with less-than-optimal antennas & sites, and over relatively long distances-per-watt.
