Just when FO2 starts growing on me, something else happens that kills off that goodwill.
Last night I discovered that if one of your computer-controlled party members strolls into a pit trap, it takes EVERYONE in your party to the floor below. The only way I was able to get out of this one cave was by saving every couple of steps and reloading until my party members stopped falling through the floor
