someone just asked me for data recovery help for a server drive that failed. turns out their chatgpt-generated backup script missed something important.
seems like they now have to spend several thousands of currency on professional data recovery services. i'm sure that's way worth the few minutes they saved by asking chatgpt for a backup script instead of just writing the thing themselves. 🤷
