Meanwhile, I have a deep need. :blob_heart_eyes:
I can't believe this is a toy that was sold and that it's so beautiful and such a weird shape, and apparently you can still find original ones that work? To sew with?? What a fantastic fucking apparatus, truly.
Here's the original ad and then a random auction photo, I typed in the entire text in the alt text if you need it to read it!

- An illustration and a photo of the same circle shaped sewing machine from a 1902 magazine and sometime in the digital age. The mechanism has been fit into and within the circular tube of the structure, with the sewing plate in the middle. Both beautiful and bizarre! The text: "Triumph Toy Sewing Machine. No. 29R177. A first class machine that will sew perfectly. It has the latest patent feed motion, a perfect stitch regulator, uses the Wilcox & Gibbs self setting needle which has a short blade shank and is not easily broken. On account of the simple devices embodied in its construction it runs lighter and quieter than any machine made. It is fastened to the table with a clamp furnished with each machine. Elegantly enameled and finished in flower designs. Suitable for the little miss, for the nursery maid, for all kinds of plain family sewing and is adapted largely for kindergarten use. Each machine is packed in a separate box with an extra needle and clamp, thoroughly tested and adjusted, and is sent out with a sample of sewing done on it, showing it leaves the factory in perfect working order. Height, 7½ inches; width 6½ inches. Price, each: $1.25. Shipping weight, 23 ounces." (remote)
