Like, at what point do we get to say that Dems aren't just spineless, they're co-conspirators in the rise of fascism? Because that is 100% the story history will tell. There are no mighty moderates of history. Just the cooptation of dead radicals.
Sure, Dems rather it not be fascism. But when it comes down to it, they'll choose fascism over democratic socialism every time because the latter will hurt their stock portfolios.
