I understand the desire to reach for the tools we have available, but I don't think applying copyright licenses to toots is going to do much to help with the disagreements around search because now we're going to get dragged into arguments about "fair use" and what is "copyrightable" etc.
In so much as something is copyrightable, most regions default to "all rights reserved". So, if you insist on a copyright view, there you go. Hands off. :/
