I hope I can be forgiven for posting a #drawing for #drawtober that I made last weekend. I did finish it only yesterday. The odd colour is because I had to photograph it by artificial light, daylight having grown scarce here.

It's a portrait study of 1930s actress Anna May Wong.

She has large almond-shaped eyes and the narrow arched eyebrows that were fashionable in the 1930s. Her hair covers her forehead down to her eyebrows. She has a long small nose and her small mouth is closed.
