Mastodon is perhaps the best example of a community, but it shouldn't end there.
There are no prerequisite technical specifications to form a community other than the absence of adtech. Decentralized, centralized, it doesn't matter.
“Communities, Not Markets” is about finding opportunities to create shared digital spaces that help reduce the amount of collective attention we allot to big tech. Number go *down*.
