Have you also thought that CSS should offer a simple built-in way to hide elements visually, all the while exposing them in the accessibility tree? Like what we polyfill with (complicated) CSS utility classes of the likes of "sr-only" or "visually-hidden"? Me too! And I think `content-visibility` should take care of that in the future - with an additional fourth value.
