LAPD shot my finger with a rubber bullet, I was wearing motorcycle gloves with padding but no armor in the fingers. Just got out of seeing an orthopedist, the bone is badly fractured and I very nearly had to have the tip amputated. If I had no gloves it would have been gone. Please add padded or armored gloves to your safety gear.
