Sunday morning in the yard, the Whiteleaf Manzanita (I believe Arctostaphylos viscida viscida) is blooming and the resident Anna's Hummingbird is taking advantage.

A small bunch of flowers of a Whiteleaf Manzanita (Arctostaphylos viscida viscida) are hanging from a small twig. The small flowers in the cluster a pink and white and are lantern shaped hanging downward. A male Anna's Hummingbird is feeding from one of the flowers. The bird is under the cluster and is facing directly up and its bill is inside one of the flowers. The bird has a green body and red crown and gorget.
