interesting… finally passed 1k “followers” on Mastodon, about 3 years after fully abandoning theBirdSite. what is different for me about this is it feels like most of them are actual ppl, most of my “reach” is real. sure, there is some spam & scam crap here too, *and* it is minuscule compared to my birdSite experience.
