Tomorrow marks the 3 year anniversary(!) of the "Wake Lock API does not work in Home Screen Web Apps" bug in Safari.
The bug in WebKit was fixed ~2.5 yrs ago, we're just waiting for the iOS team to implement it on their side.
"This issue was not forgotten", they told us.
Meanwhile, WebKit happily reports this as supported (passes feature detection), it just doesn't do the thing.
