Managers: unusably slow websites are *expensive* websites. They cost huge amounts to built (usually), more to maintain than faster sites, and lose you money along the way (bounces, lost conversions, etc.). Reject the React/Next/Angular/etc. excuses, if only because they're unbelievably costly.
