It's also very Republican-coded. If I had to guess, I'd say those who want to blame people for Meta grew up in conservative households. I assume Ronny is on the left. But he's using conservative tools to build out progressive ideals.
It was never as simple as "get off the platform." It's just not.
A big reason why Meta's power is so concerning is its ability to keep people on its platforms through creating legitimate dependencies.
