The TikTok-to-Rednote migration is fascinating. I can appreciate the sentiment—move to another Chinese-owned platform to stick it to the US government. However, longterm, I think it’s a bad move. What’s the alternative? Loops? Eh. A big migration can mean more power and influence to the platform owner.
