I became aware today of the concept of #PortfolioDay
I am Margo, a Belgian freelance artist and designer, living in Strasbourg, France. My work includes lino prints, paintings, and drawings. I work for clients, be that individuals or companies. Commissions can include portraits, posters, images for branding, illustrations, etc. On my website, I also have a webshop, on which I plan to post more work this year.

- An illustration for the calendar I made in 2022. A landscape in lavender, indigo and blue shades. It is the countryside in winter. There is a field on the left with trees on its side, there is a with on a branch in one of them. On the right is a forest, with a wolf lurking behind a tree. There is a city with twinkling lights on the horizon. In the middle is a diagonal road, going from the top right to the bottom left corner. On it, in the middle of the illustration, is a cycling woman. Her front light is a yellow beam of light to the left and her tail light a red one.
- An illustration for a poster for Tourism Flanders. The image in dominated by a large linden tree. In which are several scenes, depicting different areas of culture of Flanders. For example: Rubens is painting on a swing, there is a bar at the top and the bottom of the tree, there is a presentation, Bruegel the Elder is painting and WOI soldiers sitting on a branch. In the area around the tree are cyclists, campers and the background shows the landscape of Flanders with several cities.
- An illustration for the Small Technology Foundation for the launch of their app Catts. It shows a city landscape, a mix of fantasy elements and a European city with old buildings and parks. In the foreground is a detail of a roof, on which three cats are sitting and walking: A big pink cat, a small blue kitten and a big green cat.
- An illustration for my calendar of 2021. It is the month of July, depicting a witch in a wooden bathtub outside. She is wearing a big, pointy hat with a red-orange pattern on it, plus there are sunflowers on it. She has wild, blue curly hair. Next to her is a little table with a cocktail on it, containing a purple tentacle.
