The year is 2030 and thanks to the previous decade of ongoing abuse of "AI" scrapers, most internet services large and small have resorted to creating private VPNs you must join before accessing the service (with keys that can be revoked when abuse is detected). Browsers have been modified and adapted to integrate VPN client libraries and help users manage all their different VPN keys. Chrome and Edge browsers are blocked due to their owner's efforts to evade the VPN controls.
