Okay, the reason Robin Sparkles is so funny is because it really happened.
Specifically, it happened to Alanis Morissette.
At the start of her career, she made dance pop for teenage Canadian mallrats. Then she had a big break-up with another famous Canadian (Dave Coulier).
And this break-up was so horrible, it caused her to make an angry alternative rock album called Jagged Little Pill – which completely changed everything.
