@Helpmahmoudfamilia100 @rififi54 I am sorry but your accounts are displaying bot-like behaviour. I’m being contacted by different accounts (eg., also https://mas.to/@Mahmoudgaza95/115161820335606921). Another account with the same fundraiser was on troet.cafe and had hundreds of automated posts and also linked to gaza-verified.org without permission.
I see three possibilities:
1. The campaign is real but there is someone else creating bot accounts on the fediverse either in a misguided attempt to help or to discredit it as a scam.
2. The campaign is real and you are using bot accounts and creating lots of different accounts to promote it.
3. The campaign is fake.
In case of #2 and #3, we cannot add you to gaza-verified.org.
#3 is obvious. #2 I will document today on the site. People who create multiple accounts on multiple servers and use automated posts to spam hundreds of people will not be verified. This behaviour is scam-like and reduces trust and makes it difficult for Palestinians who are here interacting personally to get help.
If it’s #1, I am willing to try and help you but you must understand that a lot of trust has been lost already because of the behaviour of these accounts and we will be very skeptical in how we proceed and there will have to be lots of reputational damage that will take time to fix *if* (a) my friends in Gaza and I can verify that you are who you say you are (b) these other accounts are closed and only one account on one server remains and (c) if it does not engage in bot-like behaviour by spamming hundreds of people with automatically-generated posts.
My first and only priority here is to protect my friends in Gaza who are on Gaza Verified and others from Gaza on Mastodon and the fediverse who are being negativity impacted by the current behaviour of the accounts that link to your fundraiser.
