So Colbert got cancelled probably in part due to a pending merger of Skydance and Paramount, and the Kimmel thing almost certainly happened because one of ABC's largest affiliates, Sinclair, is trying to merge with another large media company, and in both cases FCC approval is key, consider please that a significant underlying lever for censorship in the US is the absolute fucking lack of diversification/consolidation of the ownership of US media, and then maybe support more non-monster media
