I've had an idea for a story rolling around in my head for a while, and it occurred to me that one aspect of the story maps to Copilot (or something like it in the future).
Imagine a future scenario where developers aren't allowed direct access to one another, but they are granted an AI coworker. A cheery, knowledgeable companion that provides continual guidance to stay on task and not worry too much about corporate things. Division of labor complete. Dissent smothered.
