Since it's secret sauce it would be really hard to fix.You've heard of "just fork it," now get ready for "just create a competing laptop manufacturer which doesn't exhibit that issue, then let the free market decide if USB keyboards should work, and then everyone can buy a new computer instead of fixing the one they have, because competition is much more efficient."
