All European armies have to make a multi-year transition planning to make their fighting capabilities less dependent, possibly independent from the USA. This is a massive undertaking as anyone knows who knows anything about weapon systems in use.
But we can't have a president like Trump decide whether we are allowed to use a weapon system or not.
