@pzmyers Also, as a manager in tech, "five things you did this week" is an insane way to approach this, given that any given thing my team or I do can be broken up to a nearly infinite level of "tasks" while still sounding like each one was weighty if you have no real idea about how my technology base works -- or, equally, sounding like each one was busywork/makework if you don't understand how complicated software development can be.

As a COMPETENT manager, I operate under the assumption that any professional skill I haven't been trained in is at LEAST as complicated as what I know, so I assume the same thing is true for 99% of the Federal Government.
