Wake me up when Meta and Google advocate for our ability to port purchased media from one platform to the next.
Until then, #DataPortability is a self-serving initiative for 2 of the Big Four cloud computing behemoths. It's a red herring that helps loosen Amazon's grip on the cloud market.
Right now, #Amazon maintains its dominance by making it hard and expensive to use competing cloud services.
#Google's fate is wrapped in its ability to dominate the cloud. #Meta has its own interests.
