The best ending to any book I've read hands down. Also, the first book that scared the shit out of me.
Richard Matheson is one of my all-time favorite authors, and I Am Legend is his best work. It's an annual re-read for me. Usually around Halloween, but come to think of it, I missed this year!
Recently, my sister scolded me for explaining the book to my niece 😅. It's not my fault she loves zombies. Maybe it is.
