A Threads post by user "constantcait" posted 22h ago features a profile picture of a cat. The post text reads: "I see MAGA is trying to drag John Mellencamp into this so I just want to let everyone know that dude had 'fuck fascism' written on his guitar when he performed for MTV Unplugged back in 1992. You don't get to do the 'I liked him until he went woke' trash with him. He's been about it since before many of y'all were even born."
