But the trivial reason is that "Gulf stream" is the proper name for only the southern part of the warm water stream on the northern atlantic, and only the part further up north may collapse (due to freshwater from melting Greenland glaciers). I.e. she spends 14 minutes telling that different people name stuff differently (and maybe incorrectly), and we are still bound to get MN weather in Europe.
