Back to the original point: I’m not going to let fascists into our community, period. I understand that having dinner with a fascist might be a valid way to change their heart, but that would be *my* choice to do, individually, and not something to which I would subject an entire community. To revisit the earlier example from Brandon’s post, the F3 leader should absolutely have dinner with a member of the Proud Boys if he wants, but he shouldn’t make the other people in the group do it too.
