What this means is that when people who use React ask questions like *"but does X scale?"*, you can safely ignore them. They have literally no idea what they're talking about. They don't understand the scaling factors of the code they exert the most authority over, and so their reckons about adjacent systems might as well be an unholy mashup of entrails divination and dice rolls.
React doesn't scale in either CPU or DOM or styling complexity, and doesn't control *anything* about layout costs.
