if Antirez benefits financially from #Redis adding the commercial license version then I'm all for it. He does good quality work and gave us all a great tool FOR FREE for over a decade plus by now. He and the Redis team owe the rest of us nothing.
One of the biggest challenges in FOSS is achieving sustainability because there are so many freeloaders
I allow people to use my LatLearn lib today for free only because I see it helping my career longterm, maybe helping to lead to more paying work
