Good for Manton, making intentional choices about where he directs his attention. I totally understand his desire to cut off Mastodon federation. Mastodon is a space where accountability is valued, and not everyone can handle that. He’s better off with a limited presence within his own community, where he can be safely protected by his peers from any criticism.
I’ll still be here, calling out the rot I see on the open web, even if the rot keeps running away.
