Jodie Ginsberg, head of the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), says today’s letter calling on Israel to ensure Palestinian journalists in Gaza are protected and allow foreign reporters into the Strip marks a “turning point”.
“It’s extremely welcome that nearly 30 governments have signed onto this statement,” Ginsberg told Al Jazeera.
