BREAKING: Austin City Manager Spencer Cronk has been fired, effective tomorrow.
He will receive a one-year severance of $463,000 under a city ordinance in which he was hired in 2018.
The decision was unanimous.
Former city manager Jesus Garza will serve as interim.
