They're advocating for the most expensive, hardest-to-construct option, and don't seem to question why it's in a state of decline.
Meanwhile renewables are growing exponentially cheaper, especially Solar PV.

@KarlAlexPauls @GretaThunberg Nuclear fission is the most expensive option, associated with decade-long construction schedules, delays, and cost overruns. It's in decline for a reason.
It was overtaken by solar and wind this year, which are both substantially cheaper and can be deployed much more rapidly.
